Miracle of the Moment
Hi Everybody. Back in April, very sad news crossed the airwaves, as Steven Curtis Chapman’s family dealt with the tragic death of 5 year old daughter Maria. She was struck by a vehicle in the driveway of their home in Tennessee.
In that moment, the sorrow must have been consuming. I would imagine the first question asked would by why? Why God? I want an answer why my little 5 year old daughter was taken from our family when she was beginning to blossom? As humans, we try to come up with the most consolable words conceivable, but do they really comfort?
Our God is the Great Comforter. He knows exactly what we need, the moment we need it and where we need it. I admit, in bewildering moments it’s tough to trust and have faith and believe that God will take care of you. Especially when we are so accustomed to the “immediate” of today.
But when that day comes when God reveals to us that He is here with us, that He is real and He knows our sorrows, anguish and even our joys, when He shows His love and we feel it, how sweet a moment!
That moment was reavealed the Chapman family. The Great Comforter knew exactly what the Chapman family needed and He knew when and where they needed it. Please click the link below as Steven Curtis Chapman recounts that moment while sitting with Larry King on the set of Larry King Live.
